Physical Security Risk Assessments

Greylock is the industry leader in conducting certified residential and corporate physical security risk assessments. Our assessments evaluate the state of security at estates and private homes, corporate headquarters and office parks. We incorporate conversations with senior leadership and key operational staff. We take the time to understand the security preferences of executives and their families, or a company’s operational culture.

We offer three types of Physical Security Risk Assessments, each customized to our clients’ individualized needs.

Physical Security Risk Assessment (PSRA)

A physical security risk assessment examines physical sites and facilities and identifies the effectiveness of current security practices. Any assessment can be tailored to satisfy the overall security program requirements of IRS Code 132, Working Conditions Fringe Benefits. We conduct assessments of any location, including:

  • private residences
  • apartment buildings
  • office towers
  • corporate HQ’s
  • office parks
  • critical data infrastructure
  • server rooms, power and cooling centers
  • warehouses, distribution and storage facilities
  • churches, synagogues and mosques
  • hospitals and health care systems
  • brick and mortar retail
  • restaurants, bars and clubs
  • music venues and concert halls
  • hotel chains
  • sports stadiums and athletic facilities
  • private schools, colleges, and universities

Executive Protection Risk Assessment (EPRA)

EPRA is an individualized, 360 degree examination of executive security designed for high-net worth individuals whose professional or personal profile draws increased risk of physical, financial or reputational harm.

We conduct a series of custom, individualized assessments of primary and secondary residences, workplace security and vehicle use. We examine daily transit modes between home, work and social obligations. We gauge the security of domestic and international travel, including secure transportation and housing. Additionally, we evaluate the vetting of household and professional staff, and review social media and open source profiles.

Enterprise Security Risk Assessment (ESRA)

ESRA is a holistic security assessment of an organization, designed to identify and harness under-utilized resources and repurpose them to improve security. Using Greylock’s proprietary ESRA assessment tool, we develop a detailed model of an organization.

We examine an organization from the boardroom to the mailroom, evaluating how each department contributes to the organization’s overall security posture. We analyze how people come and go from the corporate office, including who they are and why they’re there. We look at buildings as well as their contents – including intellectual property and and any other sensitive proprietary materials. We assess the security of data and data centers and thoroughly examine supply chains, critical procedures and infrastructure. We examine recruitment policies and procedures, including on-boarding and secure off-boarding, and procedures in place for remote workers, part-time staff, freelancers, and contractors.

After an in-depth assessment that includes interviews with key personnel in management, security, maintenance, HR, and Legal, we develop a detailed plan to enhance security through a series of integrated recommendations, short and long term security training, and advisory services.
